Above Ground Pools

Above Ground Pools Overview

The main advantage of above-ground pools as compared to the in-ground pools is pricing. It is much cheaper overall and if you move, you can always take it with you. The above ground pool do not require you to commit to the pool with its nearby home for an extended period of time. Some people build a deck around the above ground pools as they are much more highly specialized and sophisticated than ever before: they have more styles, shapes and sized to choose from.  Other than that, it is a catch-can situation with both above ground pools and in-ground pools.

The above ground pools usually are made of aluminum, steel or resin siding. They also have a frame which maybe galvanized steel or another strong structural material.  When choosing the frame, choose one that resists corrosion to make sure it lasts longer and looks good.  The choice of color is larger than before, with blue, white and gray presently being offered.  The above ground pools have shapes that are usually round and oval, with the visible structure frame, and a liner normally made of vinyl.

Some above ground pools can sit on the grass, and are best situated with that while others have to sit on concrete. Yet others work best with a pad that is place between the pool and ground. Not having to excavate makes it much easier to install. And also, these new above ground pools offer pumps, filter and ladders along with the framed structure and liner.

For round above ground pools about 18 feet in diameter, with pump, ladder and filter, the pool price will be approximately $1200 to $2000.  A more advanced of a pool with essential equipment will range from $1000 to $8000. Also, check and see if you need a builder’s permit, insurance costs or other issues to put in an above ground pools.

When installing above ground pools, make sure you level off the ground where it will be placed. Sand will be laid down in the pool area and plumbing will be installed, after the track is assembled to support the pool’s outer wall. The vinyl is attached to the outer wall, the pool will be filled and then the liner is smoothed and fastened in place.  Hook up the pump and filtration system and one of many above ground pools are ready to go.
