A pool fence is one of the major safety measures to prevent young children under the age of five from entering the pool area. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission there are an estimated 350 children die from drowning each year in residential pools under the age of five, with another 2,600 treated in the emergency rooms for submersion incidents; many resulting in permanent brain damage. Pool fences are just one of the safety preventions of these tragedies for young children and even infants.

It is utilized with a mildew resistant poly-vinyl coating so when the pool fence develops mildew stains, all that needs to be done is wipe it off with a mild Clorox and water mixture. Mildew occurs when the climate is damp and has high humidity, so having a pool fence treated would be an advantage. The mesh is woven with a continuous basket weave with a rating of 270 lbs per inch, which makes it extra strong and durable. As the border can be extremely critical as far as the safety of the pool fence, having it bordered on all four sides by a reinforced vinyl material with a rating of 387 lbs is vital for the prevention of sagging and maintaining the necessary tension. To get into and out of the pool fence area, a self-closing, self-latching gate is another area of safety for the pool area. It can be removable or permanently attached, whatever you want to do. The gate latches are magnetically triggered safety devices. They are safe, reliable, and child-resistant.
