Pool Fog

Pool Fog Trends

Pool fog is the new trendy redone look of extreme foggy weather conditions in pools made by producing a look of fog-like effects. This process is made by pressurizing pure water which mimics the mysterious pool fog of the tropical resorts.

Pools are not the same as they used to be with the try ice look, presently newly evolving into dramatic displays of extreme weather conditions such as volcanoes and pool fog. Misting systems are just one part of this new trend in producing these fog-like effects for any pool. No chemical additives are used with the pressurized water effects, just adding pool design ideas into the mysterious atmospheric effects of pool fog is quite enough.

The pool fog is nothing new, as it has been used for decades to cool the outdoors. There is surprisingly no increase in humidity but pool fog can increase the comfort level of the outdoor area by dropping the outdoor temperatures down as much as 40 degrees. The company that produces the pool fog, Landscape and Irrigation Services, states “by using a 1000psi/70bar pump module, the system can produce millions of water droplets as small as 5 microns in diameter. These microscopic water droplets then ‘flash evaporate’ which reduces the temperature in the area surrounding the system.”  Regardless which company does the professional pool fog, processes such as mistscaping allows the fog effects into specific areas in the pool that were set up in the original designs. These nozzles can disperse fog into areas such as pool fog, gardens, fountains, and waterfalls, each design unique in itself.

Pool fog is not the only source being used for the industries dispersing fog and other extreme weather conditions. The pumps that are used in the fog misting systems should be of superior quality due to the need for strong, steady water pressure.  Always ask for quiet operation, low maintenance and a long life for the pumps, plus the company you purchase the pool fog system from should have at least 10 years experience.

Pools, backyard patios, restaurants, resorts, and amusement parks are just a few of the venues using fog misting systems. The entertainment industry uses the water-based smoke and fog effects from them also; increased safety and affordability with magical atmospheres as the main reasons. Rock concerts and stage shows use this system of the fog misting effects instead of the dry ice effect as it is safer, with hotels using the fog pool methods in their special pool areas.
